Your tandem dive begins with an informational video to acclimate you to your dive, followed by some brief instructions. This training helps you relax and get the most out of your experience. During your tandem skydive you'll get familiar with how to exit the aircraft, maneuver your body during the freefall, deploy your parachute, and pilot your landing.

You'll be assigned a skilled certified instructor for your tandem dive. Optionally, you can request exciting turns or flips that are generally reserved for more advanced skydivers. Your freefall lasts for nearly a minute. Your body falls at speeds nearing 120 mph.

When your parachute opens, you'll feel a powerful jolt that lifts you about three stories higher within 10 seconds. Your parachute ride continues for about 4 to 6 minutes more, as your expert instructor aggressively turns and maneuvers the parachute giving you more of the G-Force thrill. As you start touching down, you can coordinate with your instructor controlling the chute for a targeted landing.
